I have always called Tuscaloosa home. I've been here for most of my life, but I have had the opportunity to live in Chicago, IL and Pensacola, FL for brief periods with my husband John.
We are in our 31st year of marriage and have 3 children. My oldest is Anne who is a REALTOR with LAH in Birmingham and is married to Conner Liles. I have two sons- Davis, age 25 who works for Capstone Development based in Lafayette,LA, and Stuart, age 22, who attends The University of Alabama. In the spring of 2006 I became a proud grandmother of Jack Liles, son of Anne and Conner, and in January, 2008, Jack was blessed with a new baby brother - Maxwell Liles.
Family is very important to us. We feel it is the foundation of a life well-lived. We are very lucky that ours is an "Inter-Generational" family with Mama, Dee Davis, being our 9th Member.
Perhaps you knew of my Dad, Jack Davis, a local dentist or my Grandfather, Lewis Davis, the only Family Practitioner in Gordo, AL for many years. They, along with Mama, were instrumental in helping me understand life's values and the importance of hard work.
Both Mama & Dad taught me to appreciate flowers. They spent a lifetime in cultivating and developing Camellias.
Between my family, my church involvement, my civic responsibilities, and my career, I feel that I live a very blessed life!
