As a Tuscaloosa native, I love everything about this town. From the downtown Roll-Tide mecca to the sprawling pastures of the city outskirts, Tuscaloosa's variety has something to offer for any interest. You can hike or bike around our beautiful state park in the morning, drive a short distance to stroll around our very own University of Alabama, and then grab some supper at one of our choice restaurants.
These are just a few of the reasons my husband Tyler and I enjoy our Tuscaloosa home along with our four horses, three cats, two chickens, and one faithful little dog affectionately known as the "Sheriff" of Barnes Farm. Like most families, our schedule is pretty hectic, especially keeping up with the demands of our little hobby farm. Therefore, after 14 years of service, I decided to leave the high school classroom to embark on a career that offered more flexibility. Today, I enjoy teaching ACT courses through our local community college and helping clients find their starter home, investment properties, or dream home. As a life-long Tuscaloosa resident, I am well versed with all areas of Tuscaloosa County. As a former high school teacher, I am also knowledgeable about school options for families with both young and teenage children. As an avid outdoors enthusiast, I am glad to help people plug in to a variety of outdoor groups: running, biking, hiking, bouldering, kayaking, or horseback riding. In short, whether relocating from across the country or across town, I am here to help!
