Didi Henry

With a lifelong connection to real estate and decades of experience in marketing and communications, DiDi Henry brings a unique blend of industry knowledge, creativity, and compassion to every client she serves. Raised by one of Louisiana's top REALTORS®, DiDi was introduced to real estate at an early age and first became licensed in 1996. After six years in the business, she spent more than 30 years building a successful career in advertising, serving as a marketing director, creative director, public relations specialist, event planner, and media relations director for leading agencies across the Southeast. In 2020, she returned to real estate full-time, earned her Broker's License in 2023, and now serves as the Qualifying Broker for The Alice Maxwell Team.

Since joining the team in 2024, DiDi has become known for her patience, knowledge, and genuine desire to educate and empower her clients. She specializes in working with first-time homebuyers, downsizers, individuals navigating life after divorce, and University of Alabama families purchasing condos for their students. As both a former UA parent and someone who has experienced many of life's transitions herself, she understands the emotions behind every move and enjoys helping clients navigate the process with confidence.

DiDi believes that buying a home should be exciting, not overwhelming. She takes time to ensure every client feels heard, informed, and cared for while guiding them through each step of the journey. Her extensive knowledge of the Tuscaloosa market, combined with her background in marketing and communication, allows her to advocate for her clients while making the process as smooth and enjoyable as possible.

Although she's originally from Shreveport, Louisiana, Tuscaloosa has become home. She loves the energy The University of Alabama brings to the community and is one of the few who admits she misses the students when they're away for the summer. Whether she's cheering on the Crimson Tide, discovering a new podcast, traveling, exploring interior design, or spending time with her daughter, Laura Grace, son-in-law, James, and her beloved dogs, DiDi embraces every opportunity to learn, connect, and enjoy life.

One of DiDi's favorite stories surprises almost everyone who meets her. Growing up, she played piano, guitar, and banjo and performed with a country band throughout high school and college. During a summer performance in Las Vegas, she was invited by Loretta Lynn's team to join her on stage during a show, an unforgettable experience she still treasures today.

For DiDi, real estate is ultimately about relationships. There's nothing more rewarding than watching clients become homeowners, seeing University of Alabama students grow throughout their college years, and staying connected with the families she has the privilege of serving. Long after closing day, she's often catching up with past clients over coffee or dinner, checking in on students she once helped, and continuing the relationships that make her love what she does.
