Mama Dee and more “Serenity Prayers”

Mama Dee shares another prayer from “Serenity Prayers” by June Cotner.

Mama Dee shares a prayer of gratitude titled “Realization,” written in June Cotner’s “Serenity Prayers.” The prayer emphasizes the importance of perspective, especially in times of hardship and pain. When we feel hopeless and helpless, we must remember that there are others in the world whose situations are more hopeless and more helpless. In those moments when we feel like we’ll never overcome the obstacles in front of us, we must remember to be grateful for the unique blessings in our lives. Gratitude silences fear and sparks compassion.
