    The Fourth of July holiday is nearly upon us, and with it comes a long weekend to relax and enjoy all that Tuscaloosa has to offer. With the celebration on the river being a serious finale to the festivities, we’ve got a great suggestion for getting your day started off on the perfect, sweet foot!

    Celebrate the day with gourmet doughnuts for the whole crew! Babe’s Doughnuts just opened up right on the corner of Greensboro and University in downtown Tuscaloosa! Babe’s is serving up gourmet doughnut offerings like triple blueberry, cinnamon crunch, maple bacon and red velvet as well as breakfast sandwiches, muffins, and more. What’s not to love?

    4th of July Celebration on the River

    The Tuscaloosa Symphony and American Idol winner Taylor Hicks headline the seventh 4th of July Celebration on the River. The free event at the Tuscaloosa Amphitheatre will begin with doors opening at 6PM, performances by the symphony and Hicks will begin around 8:10PM, and fireworks are scheduled at 9:10PM. The celebration will be the best seat for fireworks in town!
